The Sugar Land Imperialists Homebrew Club was formed to promote and encourage home brewing in the Sugar Land, Texas area. We are a group of individuals who meet regularly to discuss a broad spectrum of topics surrounding our passion for beer, mead, and wine, but with a particular focus on home brewing. Our meetings cover topics such as ingredients, techniques and equipment for home brewing with the objectives of encouraging newcomers to take the plunge and start to brew and for established home brewers to improve the overall quality of their beer.
The club is registered as a not-for-profit 501(c)(7) social club. We are covered by an American Homebrewers Association-supported insurance policy that provides our members and hosts with both general and liquor liability insurance.

Our general meetings take place on the first Friday of each month from 7:00pm-close at at Texas Leaguer Brewing in Missouri City. We also host occasional brew-in's where one or more local homebrewers setup their gear and brew a batch of beer -- a perfect time to get familiar with the process and ask questions. In addition, we host an annual crawfish boil in May. Many members also coordinate to brew collaboration batches together as their interests allow.
